The ugliest building in the world

by Robert 31. March 2010 15:33

The Swedish magazine Allt om resor have listed the ugliest buildings in the world... Winner; Ryuguong Hotel, Pyongyang in North Korea. The building is so ugly that the N. Korean government erased it from public images. Started already in 1987s the building was thought of being the largest hotel in the world with 3000 rooms. The project stopped in 1992 and includes no windows nor doors, and there is still a lifting crane on the top of the buildning. Other buildings on the list; Eslövs medborgarhus, Sweden, M16 headquarter in London, UK and the Elephant building, Bankok, Thailand.

The castle is burning

by Robert 30. March 2010 15:01

Last week Svenskt tenn and the Swedish prince Carl Philip introduced the new fireplace screen, CPB 2101. Inspired by the Swedish history and the fire of Stockholm's castle Tre kronor in 1607, the screen makes a pretty dramatic silhouette... I like the idea, but the price? 13500 SEK... Ooooh!

Haute papier collection

by Robert 29. March 2010 13:55

Today I received an invitation from amazing artist Bea Szenfeld... So what, just an invitation might be your first thought! But, those of you who have had the pleasure of receiving an invitation or greeting from Bea knows that they all are something special... Or what do you think about this one? Or the Christmas card which was a ginger bread with her logo.  Bea will be presenting "Sur la plage"- a "haute papier collection", I guess that is a collection made of paper... Uhhh I wish I could go there.

As hot as it gets for this weekend

by Robert 26. March 2010 13:23

Inna and her song "Hot" is this weekend warmup... The single went straight up to become no. 1 on the British dance chart earlier this week. Inna is born in Romania and the album Hot, including the single Hot, was released already in 2008. In quite many southern European countries she is already a well known artist, both for this single Hot, as well as Love, which also was included on her debut album. Fly like you do it, like you're high, like you do it, like you fly, like you do it, like a women... lalala lala la, GO! It will for sure get stuck in my brain.
